Hospital Introduction

Founded in 1927, it is the oldest and most comprehensive Class A tertiary governmental hospital in Dandong City, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and prevention. The hospital covers an area of 91,200 square meters, with 1,500 open beds and 31 clinical departments and 21 medical and technical departments. It is also the main base for standardized training of residents at the national level, a teaching hospital of China Medical University, and a designated hospital for criminal medicine appraisal in Liaoning Province. In the comprehensive performance assessment of national public tertiary hospitals, it is the only tertiary general hospital in Dandong City that has entered the top 30 in the province for two consecutive years. It has won the second prize for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Education, the innovation prize for scientific and technological achievements from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the first prize for scientific and technological progress from Dandong City for a number of scientific research awards.

Construction results

●  Established an in-hospital operation structure under the DRG model, and explored the combination of in-hospital performance assessment program and DRG performance indicators;
